Cerocito in the Forest

It is my pleasure to announce the creation of a new creature for my Internet-based world Volatilis! ^_^ This my friends is a Cerocito! They are awesome!

The fourth plane in the world of Volatilis is where the Celerdomus Forests can be found (Latin for "quick home") also known as the Server Forests. These Forests are home to a creature known as the Cerocito, which is a combination of two Latin words; concero (twine, connect) and cito (quickly, rapidly, speedily). This creature is known as the Steed of the Server Forest and spends its days running through each Forest and between, either as a herd or alone. The large, soft toes of the Cerocito allow it to run quietly and quickly and it is not known for speaking or betraying its presence by anything other than the sound of footfalls.

The Cerocito's glossy white fur is reminescent of fibre optic cable and the Cerocito is gentle in nature and generally helpful, with an occasionall stubborn streak. Often when running between Forests, it dons an intricate saddle which allows other creatures to hitch a fast ride from one end of Volatilis to another. The saddle is not designed for sitting so much as it possesses a number of handholds for one to hang on as the Cerocito races on.
