Dragonknight K'yarval

Another drawing that i did for the anime contest (details |here|) but, again, doesn't look stereotypically anime so i didn't put it in that category.

This is the Dragonknight K'yarval, who is under the command of Overlord Vkar. Dragonknights serve the alien race as minor commanders of the foot-troops, ensuring order by accompanying the foot-soldiers to the target planets. The Overlords prefer to not sully themselves on slave planets until they have been properly subdued. Dragonknights do all the dirty work, though they are richly rewarded for their services. Those willing to submit to the science/magics of the Overlords find themselves part of a new nobility, where money is no issue and they are waited on hand and foot by servants in huge castles of their choosing.

Here i have drawn K'yarval in his True Dragon form; the Dragonknights are basically humans altered to meld with their carefully engineered armour. In certain situations, the True Dragon form can be called up where the knight becomes a sort of anthro-dragon with amazing strength, scales harder than any alloy and draconic senses. But the knights cannot remain in this state for too long or they risk losing themselves to Draconic Rage where seperating themselves from their armour and dragon-self becomes impossible and the knight becomes little better than a wild dragon.

K'yarval's sword is unique among the Dragonknights, with it's deadly hook and terribly power. It is the spiritual opposite of the unnamed samurai sword that belongs to Anime Ted, who faces K'yarval later on in the series.
