Orsacorn In Situ

An orsacorn is the first breath a computer takes before it sends information to another computer. It is a data carrier, the personification of Air/Data in my cyberalchemy. It is the Ready signal, traveling to lands known and unknown. It reaches out, in complete freedom, traveling everywhere air can go. It is similar to the Sperian Airdrake though a completely different kind of animal, more like a kind of unicorn hippogryph

This sculpture is made entirely of paper and acrylic paint, though it does have a wire armature underneath and feather accents for the crest and tail It's body is about 2 3/4 feet long and it's wingspan is aprox. 3 feet. These pictures don't capture the subtle glow the orsacorn has; its feet shine blue, his beak and hooves shine gold, and the rest of him is pearlescent/sparkly silver. His eyes are some sort of plastic, i did not make them
